Depending on the service, EaziHyre may collect names, identity numbers, contact and WhatsApp numbers, email and physical addresses, emergency contacts, company details, booking and route information, vehicle and driver details, correspondence, uploaded documents, photographs, signatures, payment references, transaction status, and operational records such as time, mileage and fuel.

Identity and licence information

For self-drive and additional-driver bookings, EaziHyre may collect identity and driving-licence information and verification results. These details help confirm eligibility, prevent fraud, prepare the rental record and meet contractual or legal requirements.

Payment information

EaziHyre records payment amounts, methods, references, status and proof of payment where required. Online card details are entered with the configured payment provider; EaziHyre does not claim to store full card credentials on this website.

How information is used

• Prepare and save quotations and bookings.
• Check availability, customer identity and driver eligibility.
• Process or reconcile payments, deposits, buffers, invoices and refunds.
• Deliver vehicles or goods and communicate operational updates.
• Maintain customer, vehicle, audit and legal records.
• Prevent fraud, investigate incidents and protect legal rights.
• Send marketing only where lawful and allow customers to opt out.

Sharing with service providers

Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with payment processors, identity or licence verification providers, communications providers, mapping providers, authorised staff, insurers, professional advisers, regulators or law-enforcement bodies. Providers may process information under their own lawful terms and privacy obligations.

Lawful processing and customer choices

Information may be processed to take steps requested by the customer, perform a contract, comply with law, protect legitimate interests or on another lawful POPIA basis. Where processing depends on consent, consent may be withdrawn for future processing, subject to lawful retention and contractual requirements.

Access and correction

Customers may ask whether EaziHyre holds their information, request access where legally permitted, or ask for inaccurate or outdated information to be corrected. A request may require identity verification. Customers may also object to or request deletion of information where POPIA permits; some records may need to be retained for lawful business, tax, dispute or regulatory purposes.

Security and retention

EaziHyre applies reasonable organisational and technical measures appropriate to the information and service. Access is limited to authorised purposes. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the stated purposes, contractual records, dispute handling and applicable legal obligations. No absolute guarantee of security is made.

Cookies and analytics

The website may use necessary browser storage, cookies or similar technology for sign-in, quote progress, security and site operation. Analytics may be used where configured to understand performance and improve the service. Browser controls may limit optional cookies, although essential functions may then be affected.

Complaints
